FOUNDERS AND OWNERS
CORINNE COPRENI : FOUNDER AND OWNER
Corinne Copreni is also known as “Corker”. Hailing from Italy by way of Quebec and currently residing in Toronto, she’s the go-to driver. Corker can be spotted across the biggest boardrooms in Canada’s largest cities. Previously she’s worked at Air Canada’s in-flight magazine advertising firm and the FINA World Cup. Presently she’s a creative force behind one of Canada’s biggest media company’s, working as an account executive in brand partnership. When not masterminding the next big ad campaign, Corker fuels her brain by escaping to the deepest and furthest ends of the world. Lately she has been spotted with her eye-catching, patch-adorned, backpack in Russian Siberia, Turkmenistan and Japan. Her driving skills were tested over the Pamir Highway in Tajikistan, and the red-dusted Cambodian back country roads; her patience forged over Indonesian transportation mayhems; her stomach burnt by Chinese hot pot and whilst trying to reach country # 72, her tastebuds were tested by the deadly Japanese puffer fish and Icelandic rotten shark. In 2013 she’s driven a tuk-tuk across 4,132km of Indian roads, and in 2014 she was the first woman to entirely drive the Mongolia Charity Rally to and back, cumulating 100 days behing the wheel, driving 33,497km and crossing 36 countries aboard a Subaru XV lovingly named "BugZilla"! Now that she's seen and driven all the "Stan" countries its seems fitting that she's already planning the next adventure. The only thing Corker fears is boredom!
JESS WATT : CO-FOUNDER
Jess got her start in photography getting kicked in the head at a concert while shooting for a national magazine back in the late 1990s. Since then she has shot every artist from Paul McCartney, Jovanotti, U2, Aretha Franklin, to Peaches, Nine Inch Nails, Loretta Lynn and The Prodigy. Her work has appeared in a variety of national publications, including the CBC. When not shooting concerts, Jess continues to pursue her goal of experiencing every country through the lens of a camera. This has taken her sailing in the Caribbean, eating her way through Italy, backpacking Central America, losing a passport in Southeast Asia, breaking a limb between borders, volunteering in India, floating down the Yangtze river in China, sampling homemade vodka in the Gobi desert, daylight skinny-dipping in Siberia and being sent to Vladivostok, among other places. After successfully participating in the Rickshaw Run, Jess most recently returned from the Mongolia Charity Rally, where she travelled through 36 countries over four months
